Science of Sprouts

Hey Guys , I am back and today , we are gonna talked about the most talked recipe in the world of diet . And i believe that like me.. you also must have thought about it sometimes what’s the zing about it ..what is the stuff, why it’s so popular among dietitians and blah blah….

So i have decided to break down all the WhYs and WHATs surroundings SPROUTS !

What makes them all special – actually they are so rich in their nutrition content ..It’s of no wonder that people like me now worship it …kidding ..but i adore them ..

When we sprout our grains , the nutrition content gets multiplied and they become rich of protein , Vitamin B , Vitamin C , Fol ate , Iron   , Fiber , Phosphorus, Potassium and what not.

100 grams of sprouts roughly have 7 grams of carbs, 2 grams of fibre and protein each and ZERO FATS….can you believe it.. 🙂

Now finally how to make a bowl for yourself

Take a cup of moong beans and soak them overnight in water. Next morning drain all the water and tie the beans in a cotton napkin and keep it for next 24 hours.


Chopped vegetables of your choice – like onion, tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, etc.

Chaat masala and salt to taste

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 small boiled potato chopped.

Take out your beans out of the cloth in a bowl and mix all the ingredients as per choice. Mix it well and plate it. Lastly garnish with coriander leaves and feast your body this heavenly blessing.
